In stock

Description

Beadliner model BM3 for a minimal bead hole length of 5 mm, maximum: 50 mm.

The beadliner is supplied as standard with inserts for bead hole lengths from 8 mm (inserts with normal nose).

Instead of the inserts with normal nose, inserts with short nose for the extra short bead hole length (from 5 mm) can be delivered without extra charge – just write us a message with the order.

12 inserts are supplied: 2x conical insert, 2x inserts each for 3 to 5 mm tubes (with normal nose), 2x flat inserts and 2x inserts with bulge.

The bead liner is approx. 12 cm wide and 12 cm high.

Material: brass and stainless steel, handle: plastic, fibre-reinforced.

Scope of delivery: Beadliner BM3, magazine with 12 inserts and 2 copper tubes (total length approx. 33 cm, 4 or 5 mm diameter).

Instruction:

– Prepare the tube

1. cut tube slightly longer than the hole length of the bead, depending on the diameter;
– for 5 mm tube diameter – approx. 4 mm.
– for 4 mm tube diameter – approx. 3.5 mm.
– for 3 mm tube diameter – approx. 3 mm.

2. deburr the tube ends (for example with our deburrer)

– Beadlining

1. place the bead with the tube between the conical insert and the upper insert of suitable size.

2. hold the bead with your fingers and turn the handle so that the top insert presses on the tube.

– The tube starts to widen

1. turn the screw with the upper insert slightly upwards and remove the bead.

2. Turn the bead over and place it between the inserts again

3. Hold the bead with your fingers and turn the handle so that the upper insert presses on the tube.

– The tube widens further

Repeat this 3-4 times or until the tube is widened as desired

-Important

The tube should be beaded until the bead can still be turned with the fingers, otherwise the bead will inevitably burst
