The threaded nuts are 2 mm high and 5.5 mm wide, thread: M2.5 – fits all systems with 2.5 mm thread.
These threaded nuts can be used to adjust the free thread length on the mandrel. The threaded nut is screwed on between the cabochon mandrel and the cabochon disc (see picture). For example: if a threaded nut is screwed on between the mandrel and the disc, only 2 mm is left on the front of the mandrel (for mandrels with 6 mm thread length). With two threaded nuts, the thread will not be visible on the front of the mandrel (see picture).
