This cabochon mandrel is made from a 6 mm stainless steel tube and is lightweight, stable, and optimally balanced.
The central design feature of this mandrel is the drilled M2.5 threaded pin (4 mm long) at the tip. The central bore through the threaded pin and the tube allows the mandrel to be fully used as a blow tube.
Application: hollow beads with an integrated M2.5 threaded nut.
Thanks to the central bore, you can blow hollow beads while the bead remains on the cabochon disc, and an M2.5 threaded nut can be enclosed at the same time.
This makes it possible to create functional hollow beads with an integrated threaded insert.
With a length of 250 mm, the mandrel is ideal for precise and comfortable work at the torch.
